The second annual Collision Conference was huge and brought together startups, investors, influencers, and technology leaders put on by Cilabs, the same organisers who put together Web Summit every year.
As a Co-Director of an accelerator (www.dcsil.ca) this was a perfect event to see what international startups were working on and what established companies like Zendesk and Sendgrid were up too.
The main message was "Winter is coming" in the industry, but the startups didn't seem to really care, they were still pitching away and creating value for their users, or at least trying to.
